Account Executive
 Black Diamond Technologies is looking for Account Managers to work in both our Chicago and Northbrook offices.
The main responsibility of an Account Manager is to drive revenue for Black Diamond Technologies, consult with partners, and interact with clients on how to leverage Data Storage,Security, and Disaster Recovery Solutions for the clients benefit. In other words we are looking for Professional managers.
You must be comfortable prospecting, making cold calls, and committed to gaining new clients and working in a team sales environment.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively and creatively identify and solve client problems and provide solutions.
- Proactively prospect and qualify potential new accounts.
- Meet targets.
- Introducing our Tier 1 Vendors to clients and prospects.
- Working cross functionally with team members and sharing best practices.
- Responding to RFP’s with creativity while enhancing the prospects experience.
Requirements:
- Proven record of successful process management and relationship development with large clients
- A minimum of 3 years previous work experience in technology related sales OR 5+years of successful direct selling.
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills regarding contractual and technical issues.
- Proven ability to handle multiple time-sensitive projects.
- Proven ability to think strategically.
- Excellent partner communication skills and presentation abilities.
- Basic understanding of data storage technologies.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
